The objectives of LACF are to support research, communication and scholarship that contribute to meeting the ideals of the profession of landscape architecture.
To achieve these objectives, LACF solicits, receives and manages gifts, grants and legacies; sets policies and establishes program priorities; and reviews, funds and communicates its activities and programs.
Over the past two decades, LACF has supported a wide range of projects including habitat design guidelines, historic research and documentation, oral histories, professional education programs, design research, conference proceedings and communication projects.
Funding for the LACF grants program has been made possible through the generous donations of the CSLA College of Fellows, CSLA component associations, individual and group donors, and through bequests to the Foundation.
