Guelph Students Awarded Andre Schwabenbauer Scholarships

University of Guelph MLA student, Ana Cruceru, and BLA student, David Mugford, were the 2010 recipients of the André Schwabenbauer Scholarship in the amount of $1000 each.  The André Schwabenbauer Endowment Fund was established under the auspices of the Landscape Architecture Canada Foundation (LACF) to honour the memory of André Schwabenbauer, former President of the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects.  Each year the endowment awards a scholarship to a student entering the final year of an accredited first professional degree program in landscape architecture at a Canadian university.  Rotating among the schools on an annual basis, the scholarship is intended to honour and encourage excellence in design.  Donations to the fund may be directed to Ron Middleton at ronaldmiddleton@shaw.ca.
